Control click on the bar that moves the QuickTools palette to pop up a menu which controls window behaviour. The options are explained below:
Summon palette to mouse pointer on Control (short tap) When this option is checked the palette will move to the location of the mouse pointer when the control key on the keyboard is tapped. Only a quick tap will work- holding the key for more than a second will not. When the palette is already under the mouse pointer, tapping the control key will dock the palette to the right hand side of the screen.
Allow other palettes to dock With this option checked, when you drag palette style windows to the bottom or right egde of the screen, they will slide away so only their titlebar is shown. Moving the mouse pointer into the titlebar of a docked palette for a short period causes the palette to pop up again.

Palette gadget colours fixed Causes the red and green colouring in the close and zoom box to be permanent.
Tab key hides message box Allows you to hit tab on the keyboard to hide the message box when it is open.
