1. Click on this to choose the browse tool. The dark grey background shows the currently hilited tool.
2. The pointer tool. Click again on the pointer tool when it is hilited to switch to the universal tool (This has a white arrow icon). To get the pointer tool back, click on the white arrow icon once more.
3. The draw text tool and text tools. Strictly speaking the draw text tool should be grouped with the other draw tools, but I put it here because I use it a lot. Click again on the hilited tool to switch to the text tool.
4. The draw graphic tools. Hold the button for a menu with all the draw tools for you to choose from.
5. The button tools. Hold the button for a menu with all the button tools. There are lots! Most of this menu is shown on the right hand side of this page. >>
6. The field tools. Again, hold the button for a menu with all four field tools, or click for about a second for the menu to pop up so you don't have to hold the mouse button down. |

Open the drawer of the QuickTools window and click on the Tools tab to see a set of all the tools. You can drag and drop these items onto your project, or just click on the tool to select it. Command-drag on the draw polygon tool to set the number of sides for the polygon. |
